Let’s cook!1. Make the burger patties by combining the ground beef, salt and pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and cornstarch. Form patties and fry in oil. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
2. In a pan, melt some butter and add the mushrooms. You can add the sliced onions if your are using. Let this cook and add about a heaping tablespoon of flour. Add more if you want more gravy and are using a lot of butter. Make a roux by mixing everything to form chunks of flour and butter. Add some water and half a beef cube. Let the beef cube dissolve. Mix well. Make sure that there are no more lumps. Taste. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Pour over burger patties. Serve with rice.
