Chili and Leeks Flavored Fried Chicken


Here's another marinade idea to jazz up your fried chicken. You already know my basic marinade. I just tweaked it a little here. I used leeks, fish sauce (patis), dried chili flakes and the juice of 5 calamansi (calamondin). You can omit the calamansi if you like. Just mix the ingredients together and marinate the chicken overnight. See those flecks of chili? That gave the chicken an extra zing. MB loved it! I think he ate this with Pinakurat. I told you he eats everything with vinegar.
