My cousin C and I have been hanging out together a lot because she helps me take care of the little one. Meal times are fun especially merienda (snack time). I had a long list of food that I was not allowed to eat when I was pregnant and that includes:
I didn’t know there was a Pot Dog branch at the Shopwise near our house. Cousin C went there to buy Jamaican Patties but saw this so she called and went home with 2 boxes.
In case you’re wondering, these are fish balls, squid balls, crab claws and kikiam. She also bought a Jamaican Patty for herself:
I topped it all off with a cold glass of Gatorade Grape.
I like the simplicity of this merienda and the company that I had. I think that’s what makes a simple meal special.
