We Filipinos love substituting ingredients or making our own Filipinized versions of popular foods. My family is no exception especially my grandma. She made this for us a couple of weeks back:
The base and bottom are made with crushed grahams. The center is filled with cream and drained fruit cocktail. It probably does not have milk as I am lactose intolerant so she probably just put confectioner’s sugar to make it sweet. It looks like it has been made hastily but it was delicious! MB and I finished half the tray in one sitting.
