I like pochero but I don’t know how to cook it and I don’t want to go through all the hassle of waiting for the meat to soften up. My grandma has a pressure cooker so I asked her to cook some for me. Plus I suck at tomato dishes while she rocks at it. If I’m not mistaken, there are at least 2 versions of pochero. I like mine with tomato sauce.
My grandmother puts a lot of ingredients in her pochero. This has beef, bananas, chickpeas, chorizo and vegetables. At first look, I thought all the flavors would be confusing to my palate but surprisingly, they all blended well together. I also ate this for several days. MB loved it too.
