This is the pita pizza I served with the bolognese for Sunday's lunch. It's very easy to make.
You need
Pita
Tomatoes
ham
onions
Olive oil
basil
Parmesan cheese
Note - This would probably be better if you had fresh basil and Parmesan. I didn't so I used dried basil and grated Parmesan
Let's do this!
Brush some olive oil over the pita. Top with ham slices, sliced tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil. Pop in the oven and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until you get a golden brown pita.
I really enjoyed this pizza. The flavors are simple and fresh. I also found out that pita is actually better than the frozen pizza dough that I buy in the supermarket. From now on, I'll use this.
