Baguio Food Adventures 2025: Quoted Cafe Breakfast Buffet

We always stay at Veniz Hotel because it's close to all our regular haunts in Baguio. There is usually a complimentary breakfast ticket for Quoted Cafe's buffet breakfast when you book a room. We skipped breakfast on our first morning there because my son and I wanted to sleep in.

On our second day, however, we opted to eat there. For this breakfast, I got fried daing na bangus, sunny side up eggs, hotdogs, pancit, and rice.

I really love this fried bangus because they got the flavor right. The perfect balance of sour and salty. I don't like bangus that's overly sour. This wasn't fishy (malangsa). This is the second time I've had this, and in both times, it was spot on.

On my first try of that pancit, it was so good. But on that day, it was too salty. Plus the noodles were a bit overcooked, so they stuck together. It was also lacking sahog or toppings.

If you're going to eat there, don't expect the eggs to be seasoned. No salt and pepper whatsoever, so if you prefer your eggs seasoned, ask for salt and pepper from the staff.

This is potato chowder. My son is not a soup lover, but he really liked this. I did too! It has bits of potatoes and ham. I promised him that I would recreate this soup when we get home.

Then the hotdogs. These were alright. Nothing spectacular about them. They are also a regular in the breakfast buffet.
