Desk Bento Diaries: Beef & Egg, Sweet & Crunchy

Today’s bento is a balance of protein-packed fuel and snack-time joy. I wanted something that would keep me steady while writing (and prevent any hint of hypoglycemia).

🍱 Bottom layer — The Main Meal

Rice with dried parsley

Beef salpicao

Two boiled egg halves for an extra dose of protein and calm


🍱 Top layer — Crunch + Sweet

Fresh lettuce and apple slices for crunch

Prunes for fiber and gentle sweetness

Japanese shrimp-flavored peanut balls

Hershey’s minis (just enough to lift the mood)

Two Japanese senbei crackers — crisp, bold, and satisfying


✨ This was one of those bentos that felt simple but kept me full and focused. Sometimes it’s not about creating something flashy — just nourishing myself well between deadlines.

Note: I wasn't able to eat the senbei crackers and one mini dark chocolate.
