Donut-shaped ice? Yes, please! I spotted this adorable yellow silicone ice tray at Miniso SM Baguio and thought, “This is going to make my drinks look as cool as they taste.” And yes, the shape is as cute as it gets. There's something so satisfying about seeing a round ice ring floating in your juice or cocktail.
But here’s the real tea: it’s a bit of a struggle to get the ice out.
I’ve tried running it under the faucet for a while, but it still takes a little muscle to pop them out. Most days, I end up waiting until the ice is slightly melted or prying it to release each donut. Silicone is supposed to be easy-release, so this was kind of a letdown. The silicone they used is actually on the tougher side, unlike the silicone used for molding chocolates.

I’ll still keep using it for my special drinks or when I want to treat myself to something cute and cold at the end of a long day. It’s not an everyday tray, but it definitely has its moment. But once it breaks, I'm not buying another like it again from Miniso.
