I love Salisbury Steak, so I was curious when I saw S&R's advertisement. We're not huge S&R food fans. For some reason, they give us a tummy ache. But I really wanted to try this one.
My chance came last Sunday. I was getting hungry after doing the groceries and while my husband was at check out, I asked mom to come with me to order this.
I ate this at home. In a nutshell, I didn't like it. It was salty, as most S&R food are. The patty had a weird after taste, but it's probably the beef. The combination of the sauce and the patty was too much for my tastebuds. They got umay right away. Umay is when your tastebuds get tired of the food. Like you're sick of it. The rice didn't help either as it was too mushy. I only ate about half of the patty. I forced myself to eat the patty because I needed some protein that day. But I couldn't continue halfway. My husband said he'll eat it. He ate it, but didn't like it as well. He also just needed something in his belly. 😆
This is only Php99 ($1.68), but I'll pass.
