I got 2 boxes of these Crab Noodles from KKV before PBF. I didn’t eat it right away because I was very careful with my food before the event. I don’t know how I’d react to it, so I saved it.
Yesterday, we were finally able to try it.

I was told that this company specializes in crabs/crab noodles and they’ve been around for a long time, so I was excited to try it.
I really love these Chinese boxed meals as the set always comes complete. It has noodles, the sauce, flavoring oils, and black vinegar.
I made the mistake of not putting the oil on the noodles first. The noodles almost stuck to each other!
So cook the noodles, add the oil, then the sauce, then the black vinegar.
In this photo, I have the black vinegar in a bowl. I was hesitant to add it right away as I’m not a big fan of black vinegar.
My husband tasted the noodles and said that it was bland. I told him to use the vinegar. I tasted it and yeah, it was bland so I added vinegar, too, then asked him if I should just mix all the vinegar in. He said yes. So I did. It was still a little bland.
This was okay, but I could taste the ginger and other spices and I was worried that I might react, so I didn't eat a lot. My family isn’t a huge fan, too. We had some leftovers.
And of course, I can’t just serve this. I made some thick strawberry toasts to make it a soft luxe brunch.
Do you spread strawberry jam from edge to edge? ☺️ As you can see, I don’t. I feel like it will be too sticky to hold. 😁
