As a woman who wears many crowns daily, one of them a home manager crown, I build systems and optimize them as much as possible.
We have a small house and an even smaller kitchen. The fridge doesn't fit in there, so I have to take several steps to get ingredients… and several trips too, what with my small hands, every time I cook.
I tried using our trays but things slip off. One time, one of the glass containers almost broke. Another time, it fell on my toes.
I stopped using the trays and just did several trips.
But those days are over.
Now I use this:
It’s not very big, but can you believe that everything in the cover photo fit in here?? I was amazed too!
And the best part is this basket is antibacterial and washable!
I love organic baskets, but don’t buy them because of mold. I believe this is synthetic, made to look like the real thing. I don’t mind as long as I can wash it and I don’t have to deal with mold.
I always keep my eyes peeled whenever we’re in the mall. I often find these small treasures hidden in plain sight. And when I see them, everything clicks into place.
With my unpredictable energy, these simple hacks are a Godsend. They help me finish my tasks and allow me to conserve my energy for my art and spending time with my son.
