A Healthy Snack for Kids (Cancer-Fighting)

My son loves nuts. Thank God that he is not allergic! He loves almonds and pistachios. I've been giving him healthy snacks, homemade as much as possible. Here's one of those healthy snacks that you and your family can enjoy.

Allergy Information: Soy

This was when I wasn't allergic to soy but you can easily omit it or substitute with coconut aminos. I will make another version of this using coconut aminos.

You need:

raw almonds
1t soy sauce
Himalayan pink salt
pepper
a pinch of cayenne pepper
half a teaspoon turmeric powder
Manuka honey
Olive oil

Let's do this!

1. Preheat oven to 250C. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except for raw almonds.

2. Add almonds and coat each piece.

3. Place on a lined baking sheet. Roast for one hour, keeping an eye every 15 minutes or so. Different ovens have different cooking times. You want to avoid burning.

The sweet, salty and a bit spicy flavors of this snack were so addicting! My boy couldn't get enough!
