Two boxes, one happy kitchen, zero food waste!
For my bento, I used some leftover pancit malabon. That's fruity soy chicken on the top left. This is the lunch tier. For the snack tier, I put some salad greens with croutons and probiotic prunes. The dressing is in the left box. I also put some cheddar crackers, Japanese shrimp peanuts, and a Japanese Mandarin Orange. There are also 3 miniature Hershey's Dark Chocolates in peanuts, rice crispies, and plain.
For my son's bento, I put some leftover bowtie pasta with ham and mushrooms, fruity soy chicken, Chex, pistachios, Japanese Mandarin oranges, cheddar crackers, and 3 Hershey's mini dark chocolates.
There's nothing fancy in my bentos as the goal is to graze the whole day to avoid hypoglycemia. Here's the story why I'm making bentos even while at home.
Would you consider making a bento at home, too? I'd love to hear your comments!
