I started blogging in 2009. I stopped when I gave birth to my son. For 10 years, I focused on raising and homeschooling him. Now that he is older, I find myself going back to my first love - writing. And of course, blogging is a huge part of that.
Nowadays, I've been so immersed in blogging that I forget that I need to eat every 2 hours. It's that time of the month when we're running out of food, so the bentos have stopped for a while.
The other day, I needed a sugar rush. I looked for something to eat in our small bag of treats and found these Hanuta wafers.
I got them the first time I saw them because I saw that Ferrero made them. Ferrero Rocher is my favorite chocolate, so naturally I'd want to try this.
I love that the wafer is a square and is the right size for snacking. Just one square is satisfying enough, especially if you're just craving a quick sweet fix. There are chopped hazelnuts inside, and that makes the texture interesting. Light crunchy wafer, creamy chocolate, then that hard crunch from the chopped nuts. It's wonderful. Keeps my tastebuds from getting bored. I don't like eating plain chocolate. It should always have nuts in it, so this is perfect for me.
If you're like me and you are glued to your desk for long hours, consider having a box of this nearby to prevent blood sugar drops or to simply feed with your brain some glucose.
Got any sweet treats hanging out on your desk? Let me know your favorites in the comments!
