Soft Luxe Flavors: Tagaytay - Rosario, Pamanang Panlasa Restaurant Review

We visited Rosario Pamanang Panlasa (formerly Josephine's) in Tagaytay. I wrote about the whole trip in my beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog , if you'd like to read that. I also showed pictures of the restaurant, the view, and more. In this post, we will talk solely about the food. Before we sat down, we had a bit of a problem. My sister was using crutches as she has an incomplete fracture of the knee and the hostess who accompanied her suggested a table that would make her go down a set of stairs. 🤦‍♀️ Really? Fortunately, our server (whose name escapes me at the moment), was a star! He anticipated all of our needs and promptly catered to our requests. Baguio Country Club Cheese Bread

My sister went to Baguio, Ifugao, etc. last week. She brought home a bunch of goodies including this: It’s supposed to be a cheese bread but it’s filled with walnuts and dried fruit. It’s like a fruit cake inside. I didn’t like this. I like sweet and savory but this was just terrible. I like dried fruits as my grandma makes a mean fruitcake and she uses the same ingredients. I just didn’t appreciate this. It really tasted weird for me. The filling just does not go with the bread.

I am sharing this to all parents, guardians and carers of kids who go to Kidzoona. This incident happened today at the newly opened Century City Mall branch. We are regulars at the Waltermart branch and have also tried the branch at Shangri-La. We were excited to try out the Century City Mall branch. My 3-year old son played with the usual food stations and when he got bored, he asked me to go with him to the slides. I already knew that this was a steep slide. As usual, I went up with my son. He is still scared of going down slides on his own but there are times when he goes down alone and I wait to catch him at the bottom. I put him on my lap and down we went. I was scared midway because we were going down too fast and knew we were losing control. I ended up lying flat on my back with my head hitting the balls. It was painful.
