My sister went to Baguio, Ifugao, etc. last week. She brought home a bunch of goodies including this: It’s supposed to be a cheese bread but it’s filled with walnuts and dried fruit. It’s like a fruit cake inside. I didn’t like this. I like sweet and savory but this was just terrible. I like dried fruits as my grandma makes a mean fruitcake and she uses the same ingredients. I just didn’t appreciate this. It really tasted weird for me. The filling just does not go with the bread.

We visited Rosario Pamanang Panlasa (formerly Josephine's) in Tagaytay. I wrote about the whole trip in my beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog , if you'd like to read that.
